Latino SHARE (Scholars in HIV/AIDS Research Education) Program

Applications for SHARE 2025 Open SOON!

What is the Latino SHARE Program?

Latinos are the largest and fastest growing ethnic minority population in our nation, yet they make up less than 2% of the biomedical scientist workforce. The Latino SHARE (Scholars in HIV/AIDS Research Education) program seeks to change that! SHARE provides training, mentoring, and hands-on research experience for undergraduate students and recent college graduates from Hispanic/Latino backgrounds, during a 10-week paid summer internship. We seek to inspire SHARE participants to pursue further studies and careers in HIV and substance use disorders (SUD)-related research and practice.
