Four Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) students at Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University competed in the Public Health Scholar Bowl at St. Louis University on April 11, 2015. The team consisted of seniors Danielle Mitchel and Andi Molin, and juniors Molly Harian and Nicole Martin. Douglas Anderson, visiting assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management, served as the team's faculty advisor. In their competition against six other schools, the team won second place in the Trivia Challenge. This is the third year that a GW team has placed in the challenge. In addition, the team was scored third for their case study intervention to change both access and behavioral patterns involving fresh fruit and vegetables in a USDA-defined food desert here in Washington, DC.
